The first loop of Susie’s long awaited trip around Australia began when she left her Goondiwindi home on 1st August 2008 and, like every free bird, she headed north for the winter.  First stops were at the Gold and Sunshine Coasts before venturing as far north as Cairns then west arriving in Dysart in Central Queensland.  Instead of staying a few days, she soon revised her plans when over thirty appointments were booked on the first day!  A few weeks later, she returned to Dysart to conduct a Spiritual Awakening Workshop and to do many more readings.

On her way to Toowoomba for the White Light Festival, the unforseen happened near Bauhania which resulted in a very expensive ride in a tow truck for Susie, with her motorhome secured on the back.  Several comments over the UHF referring to the “Travelling Psychic” sign on the back – wonder if she knew this was going to happen – gave a lightheartedness to a serious situation.

Next stops were Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Lismore then onto Casino for the Campervan and Motorhome Assoc Solo’s Rally, not in her motorhome as planned, but in her sports car – complete with tent and sleeping bag – while the motorhome underwent repairs.  Susie then flew to New Zealand for a month before returning home to Goondiwindi to look after the grandchildren while daughters Karen and Julie attended the Sydney and Melbourne Mind Body Spirit Expos and conducted their Crystal and Spiritual Workshops and Mediumship Shows.

Susie resumed her journey in December 2008 heading south to Sydney where she met the most interesting group of girls who came to their friends apartment to have readings.  As the day wore on they continued to arrive with food and wine appropriate to the time of day.  (Champagne is definitely appropriate all day)!!  To say, “a great time was had by all” would be a major understatement!!!  What a wonderful happy and positive day and by sunset, no one really wanted to leave.  This is an excellent way to catch up with friends, enjoy lots of fun and laughter – and have a reading as well.  So, book your Psychic Party now!

From there Susie travelled to Canberra then south to Bendigo in Victoria, stopping all along the way for readings.  She spent Christmas and a month in Bendigo before continuing on to Melbourne.  Susie flew to Tasmania for two weeks then returned to Canberra due to bookings for more readings.  On the way to Canberra she stopped for breaky in the small NSW township of Tarcutta and within twenty minutes, arrangements were made for Susie to return at the end of February for a one day workshop and several readings over the following days.

Susie travelled back to Bendigo via the Murray River towns but due to the many appointments booked since her last visit, she returned to Melbourne yet again (the forth time in 3 months)!!!  She met up with Karen and Julie and joined them for Julie’s Mediumship Show and Spiritual Workshop and Karen’s Crystal Workshop.  Susie spent several days reading at “The Peaceful Feather” in Kilsyth before going to South Australia crossing the border at Frances.  She attended another Solo’s Rally – two wonderful weeks of great fun - at the tiny township of Mundulla.  The locals of that wonderful little commumity may ever be the same again!  The Solo’s certainly know how to enjoy themselves and the locals were happy to join in!

From there it was south to Mt Gambier and Port McDonnell, then back into Victoria at Nelson before travelling to Adelaide.  After ten days Susie went to the tiny York Gulf fishing town of Parham to meet up with motorhoming friends for a fun filled Easter.  She then travelled to The Riverland, the area she considers her second home.  Susie previously lived on a houseboat on the River Murray at Renmark and to be back near that magnificent river was a dream fulfilled.  She did many readings and took some R&R to enjoy this great little corner of the world.  From Renmark, she meandered through Victoria and NSW arriving home in Goondiwindi in May.  After three weeks spent catching up with family and friends, Susie went to Burleigh on the Gold Coast for 6 weeks.

Susie left Goondiwindi on 1st September 2009 to go to Biloela for the Solo’s  Rally and planned to travel the inland route to Cairns and returning to Brisbane down the coast road.  However, due to bookings Susie only made it as far as Airlie Beach where she met friends and spent 5 leisurely days crusing the Whitsundays on their yacht.  From Proserpine she travelled home the exact route that she travelled up on  doing almost as many readings on the way back. Susie spent December and January on the farm with her two daughters families including the four delightful grandchildren who love it when Granma Susie comes home each time.

In February 2010 Susie left home again and travelled the inland route to Melbourne where she boarded the Spirit of Tasmania.  She toured around Tassie for five weeks and attended the Solo’s Rally in Georgetown.  She returned via Melbourne, Tarcutta, Berry, Sydney, Scone and Glen Innes arriving home in May.  In July Susie headed inland and north again, still only getting as far as Mackay then home for a few weeks.  She then went south in September to Nowra and the beautiful Shoalhaven area to housesit for nearly 3 months.  On Rememberance Day she travelled to Canberra to surprise her grandson who was on a school trip.  She returned home for Christmas.

A hurried trip to Hay in March 2011 for the Solo’s Rally was extended.  Taking advantage of being so far south, Susie motored into South Australia to see her much loved Murray River - finally filled to overflowing.  She had a few days at Renmark before following the Murray down to the mouth at Goolwa then cruised on the Murray Princess from Mannun to Blanchtown.  She returned home via Broken Hill and followed the Darling River through various outback NSW towns.

Susie’s daughter Julie McKenzie was named Psychic of the Year Queensland 2011 so Susie decided to return home to for a year to be the Granma in residence while Julie fulfills committments as required.  The last few years Julie has been touring, hosting spiritual workshops and mediumship shows.  She is also the well known author of “Dancing with Spirit” and the childrens book “Gemma and the Fairies”.   You can visit Julie’s website for more details www.purereflections.com.au

Susie’s other daughter Karen McMillan also travels extensively and conducts workshops on crystals and crystal healing.  Karen and Julie own Anjewels and Gems, a new age shop in Goondiwindi with an excellent range of quality crystals.  They both do readings as well as crystal and spiritual healings.  Other services include massage, reiki, kinesology, and naturopathy. Karen also retails crystals from her crystal warehouse through her website www.anjewelsandgems.com.au
